Only thing I might change on the chart is "Graduate to email/direct messages". For people that I primarily communicate with on Twitter, I find DMs are the easiest way to get more personal and connect.
@Sue-Anne Good point, Sue Anne. I use DM like email too, although I wouldn't recommend Twitter as a "system of record" for messages. Email is obviously better for that.
Yes ... if you need a record of the convo, don't trust Twitter ... I also think it's good to file your DM notifications. For anything significant (contains a phone number, important details, etc.) I always file the email with the DM.
Found the post on Codswallop where @chrisgarret talks about using Excel for Twitter followers - think it's probably the one you meant. To save anybody else searching for it: http://www.cogniview.com/convert-pdf-to-excel/post/excel-visitor-value/ ... and if it's not the one you meant, it's interesting and new info for me anyway so it's still good :)
Another passion I have is songwriting. You'll find several albums on iTunes (search "John Haydon"). If you like, you can mosey on over to Facebook and become a fan.
